PARENTS!!!! The Women’s Ministry of Living Hope is here to take your kids for a few hours so you can have a few hours to do… well, whatever! Go on a date, get some things done or whatever you want to spend your time doing. It’s a great opportunity to take advantage of.

Your kids will get fed (pizza and snacks), play some games, do some crafts and even watch a movie! A $5 donation is suggested per child.

This past Sunday we launched our Baby Bottle Campaign! This is a month long event to help provide needed resources to women in crisis through Care Net of Puget Sound.

Gifts received during baby bottle campaigns are used to connect women in your community to life-affirming resources for their pregnancy, including pregnancy testing and ultrasounds, parenting education, material assistance and abortion recovery support.

There’s only a couple baby bottles left in the Lobby, so be sure to grab one before they’re gone. You can also help support this ministry by making an online donation here.

As you may or may not know, Charles Colson passed away on April 21, 2012. He was founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries and also special counsel to President Nixon from 1969 to 1973. Chuck played a large role in the Manhattan Declaration along with the various other ministries that he committed his life to. To share how Chuck’s life impacted your own visit chuckcolson.org.

His public memorial will be held, Wednesday, May 16 at 10am at Washington National Cathedral in Washington DC. You can also watch the memorial, live, at the Cathedral’s website here.

Though Chuck has passed, we want to honor him by continuing to make a stand for the sanctity of human life, marriage between one man and one woman, and religious freedom. As Chuck would say, “Remain at your posts and do your duty—for the glory of God and His kingdom”.

Please join me as we pray and seek God during one of the most critical times in the history of our nation tonight at 7pm.

There will be a time of worship and a guided time to specifically pray for our leaders, government, businesses, media, schools, and families.

We would like to welcome Home of Grace to our facility.

Home of Grace is a Russian church that will be using our sanctuary on Saturday mornings from 10am until 1pm and Monday nights at 7pm in the Annex/Portable. If you see them around, please extend a warm welcome.

With the economic and moral decay that our country is currently facing, it is time for God’s people to intercede and pray… to seek God for forgiveness, wisdom and moral uprightness in our leaders at all levels of government and public service.

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Please join us Thursday, May 3rd at 7pm here at Living Hope for a special service of prayer and worship for our nation. Some other churches in our community will be joining Living Hope.

Our sanctuary will also be open during the day to pray anytime. A prayer guide will be available to help you pray for specific needs.

This Sunday, April 29th, Living Hope has reserved some tables, pizza and some tokens at the Family Fun Center in Renton. Please join us for a fun time where families and friends can eat, play and get to know some other folks. A great venue to introduce others to our church.

This Sunday, April 22nd from 12pm-2pm, Pastor Jess will host “Discover Living Hope” for anyone who does or is considering making Living Hope their church home.

This is very similar to a “membership” class. However, we recognize that membership in God’s family is universal and is non-exclusive to any church. This, then, becomes a way for an individual to decide whether or not to commit to invest and partner with Living Hope in accomplishing its mission and living out its core values.

We hope you will want to become a “Partner” of Living Hope.
A light lunch will be provided and childcare will be available (if requested).
